EpicTable
A commercial virtual tabletop for remote and in-person tabletop roleplaying games.
What it is
EpicTable is a virtual tabletop application for tabletop roleplaying games, supporting maps, tokens, shared game state, and remote play.
Why it matters
EpicTable was a real commercial product with real users, not a disposable prototype. It combined desktop UX, multiplayer coordination, game-focused workflows, and user-managed creative assets.
What I built
- Desktop application architecture and UI
- Map and token interaction model
- Resource distribution for maps and other assets
- Multiplayer session support
- Product packaging and customer-facing release workflow
Technical shape
EpicTable is primarily a C#/.NET/WPF desktop application. The system includes local state management, UI interaction patterns, shared session mechanics, and asset handling for user-created tabletop content.
Status
Legacy commercial product. Still an important foundation for current thinking about tabletop tools, game UX, and creative software.
